I’m looking into ADT Security and I don’t understand what ADT Cellguard is? Can anyone help me out?

ADT Cellguard refers to the way in which the home alarm system communicates with the central monitoring station. There are generally three ways for this to happen: via a traditional phone landline, via broadband or via cellular. We always recommend having a cellular connection. With cellular, you are not relying on a phoneline that can be cut or a broadband connection that is susceptible to internet outages.

ADT charges more for their Cellguard packages. One of the reasons FrontPoint is our favorite alarm system is because all of their systems are 100% cellular.
