Can you explain the grade level on deadbolts? I was at the home improvement store this weekend and saw the different grade levels. I think they were 1-3, but I’m not positive. The wording was usually something like this: ansi grade 1 deadbolt locks.

The grading of door locks was created by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to help determine the quality and durability of deadbolts and locksets. Each device goes through testing to determine its grading level. ANSI Grade 1 is the best grade a door lock can receive.
