I am shopping around for life insurance and this whole process is really overwhelming. Can anyone provide some simple pros and cons of indexed universal life insurance?

The biggest pro in regards to an Indexed Universal Life Insurance account is the ability to allocate certain amounts to a cash value or to an index account (that follows the stock market closely). So instead of just being a standard “Death Benefit” life insurance policy, the policyholder has the ability to access cash from the account later in life.

We just started a three part guide to life insurance and Indexed Universal Life Insurance will be covered in detail during part three.
