I operate an office with a network of 20 computer systems. Recently, we are facing network issues. The whole network gets stuck for a few minutes once every day. We were not able to pinpoint the problem at first. We were unsure if it is the server issue or due to any malicious software. Then our tech support suspected DDos attack. I read online about it and I am now 80 percent sure about it.
If that is the case, will I have to wipe out the entire server data and restart the network? What should I do to prevent such threats from affecting us?
I need support and advise. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
